We are currently looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and have a solid background in landscape gardening and horticultural techniques. You should have a strong attention to detail, a passion for crafting and maintaining stunning outdoor environments, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Review and interpret landscape plans and drawings to determine layouts and materials. Prepare and cultivate soil, and apply appropriate fertilizers. Plant and care for trees, shrubs, lawns, and other greenery. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient operation. Build and maintain landscape features including paths, patios, decks, retaining walls, water features, and lighting. Operate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery. Perform pruning, mulching, weeding, and pest/disease management. Communicate with clients to understand and deliver on their landscape needs. Adhere to safety standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate IV in Landscaping or a related field At least 1 year of experience in a comparable landscape and garden maintenance position Extensive knowledge of landscape design, including practical advice and implementation of key elements Skilled in operating landscaping tools and equipment effectively Show a genuine passion for plants and gardening, paired with a strong sense of design and visual aesthetics Exceptional customer service abilities and flexibility to work autonomously or collaboratively Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $75,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
