We also offer: One Accrued Day Off (ADO) each month Paid overtime Flexible work arrangements A variety of projects — no being pigeonholed into one type of work A convenient South Geelong location close to public transport ABOUT THE ROLE Position: Land Surveyor/Survey Technician While much of our work supports subdivision and land development, you’ll also have opportunities to be involved in drone surveys, laser scanning, monitoring, infrastructure projects, and construction/engineering surveys . Key Responsibilities: Pre-field survey computations and preparation Party leading on a variety of surveys Post-survey data reduction and computations Preparing and/or checking survey plans and reports Contributing to internal project management software Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and project targets Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to build strong relationships Contributing to improvements in techniques and procedures Maintaining quality assurance and professional standards ABOUT YOU You’re an adaptable, proactive and detail-focused professional who enjoys variety in your work and collaborating with others. You will have: Some experience as a Land Surveyor/Survey Technician or Survey Assistant ready to take the next step Relevant qualifications (minimum Advanced Diploma of Surveying) Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to interpret plans and technical documents Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy A current manual driver’s license Permanent right to work in Australia Desirable: White Card Experience with LISCAD and AutoCAD/BricsCAD Familiarity with Leica equipment HOW TO APPLY Click ‘Apply for this job’ to submit your CV and a cover letter outlining why you’re looking for a new role and the types of projects that most interest you.
