SolutionOne has been providing exceptional IT support to the Mornington Peninsula for nearly 20 years, and we are going from strength to strength. We are responsible for providing technical support, consulting services, and hardware supply to over 1000 organisations locally and more than 40 schools across Eastern and Southern Metro Melbourne with direct hands-on and remote IT support. As an Account Manager, this entry level role is responsible for strengthening the relationships and driving growth opportunities with existing clients. It works very closely with the Corporate Services Director to learn and practice your skills in account management, identifying new opportunities amongst an existing client base and proposing the correct product/solution to suit customer’s needs. This will involve selling our IT Solutions both over the phone, via video and face to face both onsite at client offices and at various events throughout the year. This is not a commission based role, it's about adding value for our customers and therefore increase our share of wallet. THE NITTY GRITTY Fulltime ongoing employment - 100% onsite at our offices in Mornington. Own transport is a must, Public Transport is not easily accessed. Must already possess the right to work in Australia. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES Self confident with good verbal and written communication skills Willingness to step outside comfort zone Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills Working with Children Check and Drivers Licence WHAT TO BRING TO THE ROLE? A hunger to learn and grow both professionally and personally A passion for technology and providing solutions for clients Clear alignment with Solution One values and culture Ability to work both autonomously with little supervision and as part of a small team KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales - Target business opportunities amongst an existing client base to increase share of wallet with existing customers. Display a strict “Customer First” approach when proposing products/solutions which must suit the clients long term IT strategy. Display ownership and pride to the success of assigned clients. Generate and respond to quote requests amongst our existing client base. CRM & Pipeline Management - Maintaining the accuracy of contacts and clients/vendors in our CRM, to grow the business and generate better market intelligence. Keep consistent and coherent internal and external notes for each client/opportunity. Keeping a tidy and accurate pipeline and sales funnel with opportunities and quotations. Communication with clients - Explain product and services information in a manner the end user can relate to, using visual content or storytelling where appropriate, to explain the solution and any processes. Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining contact throughout the entire purchasing process Check in with clients on an ongoing basis to ensure we’re meeting their expectations, providing the highest level of support and care and identifying new opportunities. Identifying better ways to work - Share feedback/ discoveries/ opportunities/ weaknesses that you find while performing your tasks. Show a high level of understanding of how other departments of the business Collaborate well with these departments to ensure the overall business success. Conferences & Events - Attend conferences whilst upholding SolutionOne’s reputation. Confidently and clearly present and explain IT Support Ecosystem to Clients at Conferences & Events. Be confident in public speaking to small crowds. Continuing Professional Development - Maintain technical knowledge in an always evolving industry of technology. Continue to seek new and improved ways to supply IT into the SMB sector Identify and work with Management on continuing personal development and growth. Adhoc - Other duties as requested NEXT STEPS: We are looking forward to receiving applications for this employment opportunity with SolutionOne.
