Paspaley is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to join our Sydney-based design studio. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the creation of exquisite fine jewellery pieces, working closely with our design, merchandising, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Create detailed 3D CAD models using Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, ZBrush, or similar software. Translate hand-drawn sketches and creative concepts into production-ready CAD files. Collaborate with teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. Operate 3D printing equipment and manage prototyping processes within the studio. Use 3D scanning tools to digitize physical models and components. Maintain an organised CAD library and support design documentation. Participate in design reviews, innovation sessions, and trend research. About You 2 years of experience in jewellery CAD design or a similar role. Formal qualification in Jewellery Design, CAD, or related field. Proficient in CAD software for jewellery production. Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes including casting, setting, and finishing. Excellent attention to detail and a refined design aesthetic. Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
