About The Opportunity We are on the lookout for an IT Support Engineer based in Port Melbourne on full time permanent basis. This role works on a shift pattern with start times rotating between 7.00am and 10.00am. The weekend on call shifts are also rotated among the team. The primary purpose of the IT Support Engineer role is to maintain Total Tools IT Infrastructure and systems provide level 1 and 2 support from basic helpdesk resolution and service delivery to tier 2 technical support. This role will support Store and Corporate staff with online, phone and face to face support, covering Network/Microsoft/Laptop and devices/ERP Pronto and general IT assistance. In this Role Level 1 and 2 support of Microsoft systems including account creation, basic security and access.General IT support for ERP and corporate systems assisting users where necessary.Provisioning of equipment, setup and deploying for users to support them in their dutiesParticipate in broader, system related business projects. Develop and report on the status of project resources/deliverable, system performance reviews and post implementation auditsBuild strong relationships with users, IT staff, and management to determine and resolve issues associated with system and network implementationChampion customer service and ensure a customer first approach.Participate as necessary on the strategic enablement of IT and Digital systems and participate as required.Ensure all calls are logged and processed using corporate helpdesk systems.
