Our team is growing and we’re on the hunt for a Intern for our Private Wealth team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Intern to support our financial planning team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the financial services industry, providing an opportunity to learn about financial planning processes, client management, and product knowledge. Job Summary This is a hands-on Intern role Implementation of Financial Planning Advice: Assist in the execution of financial planning strategies, ensuring that advice is implemented accurately and in a timely manner. Completing Application Forms: Support the team in completing client application forms for financial products and services, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and documented properly. Product Knowledge & Research: Develop a foundational understanding of financial products, services, and insurance offerings to help with client inquiries and internal projects. Client Review Files: Set up and maintain client review files, ensuring all relevant documentation is organized and up-to-date for annual reviews. Compliance Documentation: Assist with checking compliance documents to ensure all records meet industry standards and regulations. Client and Provider Communication: Request necessary information from clients and third-party providers, ensuring efficient and accurate information flow. Insurance Quotes: Run insurance quotes based on client needs and preferences, providing quotes to the financial planning team for further analysis. Client Query Management: Respond to basic client queries via email or phone, providing support and guidance where appropriate, or escalating complex queries to senior team members. Data Entry: Input data into financial systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of client records. Client Request Follow-up: Track and follow up on outstanding client requests to ensure timely resolution. Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of annual portfolio reports, ensuring that all data is accurate and that reports are completed on schedule. Project Work: Take on various project tasks as assigned by the team, contributing to the development and improvement of internal processes and client services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while working on various tasks, including data entry, client communication, compliance checks, and report preparation. Experience & Qualifications Final year students of Financial Planning degree courses are strongly encouraged to apply for a part time role, which will transform to a full time role as a graduate post completion of studies.
