The key duties of the position include The Role Defence Digital Group (DDG) is seeking motivated people across infrastructure, cloud computing, applications development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cyber security and networking domains to join our Engineering Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the ICT field. You will gain hands-on experience and training in platforms/technologies relating to ICT. You will assist in designing and developing end-to-end ICT solutions that meet business, technical, and security requirements. We have three core priorities: building best-in-class people to support DDG's efforts, underpinned by best-in-class global platforms, supported by best-in-class sovereign capabilities. Our goal is to provide our warfighters the appropriate technologies needed to fight and win in the digital age. These roles will be part of larger project teams to develop solutions and deliver capability. About our Team You will be part of a team of ICT professionals delivering complex projects across key Digital domains in both the Military and Enterprise Systems Divisions within Defence Digital Group (DDG). These roles will provide technical expertise in a matrixed construct, as teams and individuals are embedded into projects as needed. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidates will: Basic understanding of networking, cloud computing, programming, or data analytics and be able to work closely with enterprise and domain architects to ensure solutions align with Defence architecture frameworks and standards e.g. TOGAF, DODAF. Familiarity with any programming or scripting language e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript. Eagerness to learn new technologies and develop a broad skill set in ICT. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to document processes, configurations, and solutions to assist with knowledge sharing and troubleshooting. Desire to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to support the continuous improvement of ICT systems.
