About the role Techimac is looking for a capable HR Driver and Installer to join our team based in Camellia, NSW. This is a full-time position, responsible for the safe delivery and installation of highly sensitive technical equipment to our customers across the local region. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. What you'll be doing Operate a heavy rigid vehicle to deliver and install a wide variety of sensitive technical equipment at our customer sites. Safely load, secure and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques. Provide excellent customer service, liaising with project staff and customer site contacts to coordinate deliveries and installations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to keep the fleet in good condition. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and Techimac's safety policies. Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as required. What we're looking for A current HR driver's licence and at least 2 years' experience operating heavy rigid vehicles (Synchromesh Gearbox) – applicants who have a trade or technical background are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience in a similar delivery, installation, technical or trade role is desirable. White card (must be willing to obtain if successful). Customer service orientated with good communication skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commitment to safe work practices and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety. Ability to work well with others and independently. Flexible to work varied hours including overtime and travel (overnight) as required.
