About the role Transurban is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of ERP and Corporate Applications. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ERP Platform and Corporate Applications, ensuring seamless strategy and planning, project execution, and operations. As the Head of ERP and Corporate Applications, you will lead a multi-disciplined team to maintain , simplify, and grow Transurban’s ERP platform while supporting our suite of Corporate Applications. You will balance total cost of ownership with the value captured from delivered platform functionality, remaining flexible to organizational changes. Reporting directly to the Group CIO, you will collaborate closely with leaders in Finance, Technology and People & Culture. Day-to-day, you will: Lead the operational service delivery and project teams, driving all project/program aspects from planning to execution, implementation, change management, and transition. Oversee the ERP Service Delivery team, providing functional and production support for Transurban’s ERP platform, including the core ERP system (Workday) and other integrated systems. Develop and implement strategies to optimize Transurban’s investment in ERP and Corporate Applications, reducing total cost of ownership and capturing value from the delivered platform. Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and leveraging vendor roadmaps to benefit Transurban. Champion a customer-focused approach, working closely with senior business representatives to understand and translate business requirements into project scope. Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team members, promoting a high-performing and inclusive work environment. This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Proven ability to influence discussions and decisions with deep stakeholder management skills. Extensive experience in digital strategy development and leading large teams. Strong knowledge of Workday as a platform , payroll technologies, architectural experience and IT methodologies and practices. Exceptional experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiations. A curious growth mindset and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships at all levels.
