Head of Analytics Location: Sydney OR Melbourne One of Australia's top-tier banking organisations is seeking a strategic and inclusive analytics leader to guide a high-performing team and deliver insights that drive meaningful outcomes for both customers and the business. This is a rare opportunity to lead at scale, influence senior decision-makers, and help shape the future of data-driven transformation in financial services. About the role: The Head of Analytics will lead a multidisciplinary team of data professionals to deliver insights that inform business decisions, enhance customer experiences, and unlock new opportunities for growth and efficiency. The role is central to designing and implementing data-driven solutions that simplify processes and elevate performance across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Insight & Impact: Deliver actionable recommendations that influence product, customer, and risk strategies. Customer Experience Innovation: Use analytics to identify friction points and opportunities to digitise and improve customer journeys. Leadership & Capability Building: Foster a high-performance culture, develop team capabilities, and champion continuous improvement. Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure analytics are built on robust, compliant data foundations. Stakeholder engagement: The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders across product, digital, and data domains to align analytics with strategic priorities and deliver value across the organisation. Success metrics: Growth in customer engagement and satisfaction Increased product penetration and revenue uplift Tangible cost efficiencies and process simplification 10 years in financial services, with a focus on customer-centric analytics. Deep expertise in advanced analytics, data science, and statistical modelling (Python, R, SQL). Proven experience leading high-performing teams to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. Strong executive-level communication and influencing skills. Familiarity with regulatory environments and responsible data practices.
