How will you make an impact The Customer Success & Protection division delivers Risk and Shared services to all AMP Bank product tribes, along with Customer Protection functions to all AMP Group entities efficiently and effectively. This is a leadership role that will design and inspire a high performing team that delivers our desired Customer and Risk outcomes along with seamless customer experiences. This role is accountable for Risk services across the bank, both in Lending and Everyday Banking and the newly created Small Business and Personal Banking teams. - Design and implement AMPs 1st Line risk management practices across the team and broader squads/tribes that deliver exceptional service to our customers - Be an escalation point for risk and compliance issues for AMP Bank tribes, and enable the tribes to better understand their consolidated risk profile - Contribute to effective risk governance by managing and owning 1st Line risk reporting, including as required to AMP Bank Business Risk and Compliance Committee, Group Risk and Compliance Committee and any other relevant committee - Develop and execute quality assurance reviews for AMP Bank, Identifying defects and help improve the customer experience with this data - Review new code and regulatory change items to ensure we are effectively including these in our quality checking - Resolve customer complaints in a fair, timely, and transparent manner, and champion AMP’s customer-centric strategy by embedding Csat disciplines and governance /reporting across the Bank - Identify, develop, and manage key partnerships that drive short- and medium-term strategic and operational advantages, with a clear emphasis on commercial outcomes, customer value, and risk alignment (CPS 230). - Lead and motivate a team responsible for AMP risk enabling them to meet business objectives and goals and exceed risk and customer expectations What you will bring to the role - Extensive senior leadership experience, working in banking and/or financial services environment - Strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for Banking and Financial Services - Experience in identifying, assessing and addressing operational risk - Understanding of competitors propositions and industry trends and as they relate to a banking environment - Ability to contribute to the development of business plans and present in senior leadership environments - Proven experience in the successful management and implementation of regulatory changes - Proven ability to adapt to, and lead people through change Why we think you’ll love working at AMP Doing what we’ve always done is not an option, so your clever ideas will get airtime here.
