Who We’re Looking For Qualifications in science, environmental science/engineering, occupational hygiene, or related discipline. Demonstrated experience in hazardous materials investigations, sampling, and reporting (minimum 2–3 years preferred). Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) accreditation highly regarded. Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and relevant Australian standards. Proven report writing skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings. Excellent project management, time management, and client engagement skills. Current Australian driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia. About the Role This role involves leading and supporting hazardous materials assessments from planning through to delivery, with responsibility for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. Key Responsibilities Undertake hazardous materials surveys, sampling, and risk assessments. Coordinate and manage laboratory analysis, ensuring quality control of results. Prepare accurate, high-quality technical reports within agreed timeframes. Provide specialist advice to clients based on legislative requirements, industry best practice, and project-specific needs. Manage projects from proposal to completion, including scope preparation, budgeting, and scheduling. Maintain and develop client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business. Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS procedures and company policies.
