BGIS is seeking a Full-Time Lifeguard / Gym Attendant to join our team at Holsworthy Army Barracks . This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a structured, active environment while making a positive impact every day. What You’ll Be Doing In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site gym and pool, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and support for defence personnel. Key duties include: Opening and closing the gym Monitoring pool and gym safety and responding to incidents with First Aid and CPR Checking IDs and managing member sign-ins Supporting Physical Training Instructors with setup and pack-down Maintaining cleanliness, equipment, and loan items Managing bookings and customer enquiries Reporting maintenance issues and participating in stocktakes What You’ll Bring Current First Aid and Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard certificate (required) Strong swimming ability (must demonstrate ability to touch 6m pool floor within 6 months) Great communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures Professional and reliable work ethic Willingness to undergo Baseline Security Clearance Availability for weekday shifts with potential for weekend overtime About BGIS BGIS is a global leader in facilities management, with 10,000 employees managing 50,000 facilities across Defence, Government, Healthcare, Education, and Utilities.
