Assist in planning, investigation, and delivery of capital works and maintenance projects across port assets (civil, structural, mechanical, and marine) Support the preparation of technical documentation including reports, drawings, specifications, and contract materials Contribute to project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and contractor coordination Undertake site inspections, audits, and condition assessments under the guidance of senior engineers Collect and analyse data to support asset performance monitoring and environmental compliance Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure effective asset management Assist in developing and implementing asset management plans and maintenance strategies Support initiatives related to safety, quality, environmental compliance, and sustainability Participate in professional development and learning opportunities Work on high-impact infrastructure projectsKickstart your engineering career with real impact A successful Graduate Engineer should have: A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Marine preferred) Strong technical foundation and understanding of engineering principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Project desirable) Full Australian work rights and a valid driver's licence Willingness to undertake fieldwork and site inspections Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in dynamic project settings Previous internship, placement, or project experience in engineering or infrastructure (desirable) Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or project management tools (desirable) Our client is a Victorian Government entity responsible for the strategic management, development, and operation of one of Victoria's key deepwater ports.
