* Supportive Management Team * Commitment to Quality Patient Care * Free onsite staff car parking and close to public transport * Full-time roles available We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Scrub Scout Nurse to join our Perioperative team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: * Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation * Deliver evidence-based nursing care * Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team * Ensure patient and staff safety * Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only) * Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient * Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology About the Company Come and join the team of highly experienced surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and allied health professionals at North Melbourne. About You * Current Registration with AHPRA * 2 years of Scrub Scout experience (desirable) * Working with Children check (if relevant) * Commitment to Quality Patient Care * Compliance with ACQSHC National standards * Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Works well independently and within a team * Basic computer skills
