We’re an established player in the garment industry and are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting, while providing key financial insights to support senior management. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger Manage monthly processes including BAS, GST, ATO, WorkCover, Superannuation, sales commissions, overseas salaries Process remittances to local and international suppliers Prepare and analyse quarterly financial statements for management and bank reporting Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with Sales and Production Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations Identify financial risks and maintain strong internal controls Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and IT consultants Oversee company IT systems in conjunction with external IT providers About You Strong communication and interpersonal skills High proficiency in Excel, ATTACHE, and Word In-depth understanding of financial compliance and tax regulations Proven ability to lead a small finance team Degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) What’s On Offer Competitive salary package A collaborative and supportive work culture Exposure to both local and international business operations Stability and opportunity for professional growth If this sounds like you please apply following the prompts.
