The Role We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join and be part of the cotton industry in Wee Waa, NSW. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the safe and efficient running of a wide range of plant and equipment. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, support breakdown repairs, and ensure machinery and mechanical systems are operating at their best. Key Responsibilities As a Fabricator, your focus is to keep essential machinery and equipment in excellent working order. This includes: Performing maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including plant machinery, air systems, pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, mobile plant, conveyors, and packing lines Designing, manufacturing, assembling, installing, testing, and commissioning mechanical equipment and components Completing structured preventative maintenance during downtime periods Responding to breakdowns and carrying out inspections and servicing during production Training and mentoring team members, including apprentices Supporting process activities when required Following all WHS, environmental, and quality policies and procedures Benefits Pay rate: $40.29 per hour plus penalty rates The duration of work is roughly 4 to 6 months Working schedule is approximately 40 hours per week Work with diverse equipment in a dynamic production environment Opportunities for skill development and mentoring experience Your Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will bring: An enthusiastic, safety-first attitude Ability to work effectively within a team Strong reading, writing, and maths skills Commitment to following directions and WHS regulations Mechanical trade experience in maintenance, repair, and fabrication highly regarded Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
