Safe Transport VictoriaExecutive Director, Corporate Services ‘Safe Journeys, Every Time’Key Executive Leadership Role Safe Transport Victoria (ST Vic) plays a critical role for the community as the Victorian Transport Safety Regulator for commercial passenger vehicles, buses and the Maritime sector, ensuring a safe, sustainable and accessible transport network for all Victorians on roads and waterways. Its primary responsibility is to manage compliance, accreditation and registration across the three sectors. With a philosophy based on education before enforcement, ST Vic encourages innovation and collaboration, working with its partners in industry and with the community to create better and safer journeys. ST Vic is seeking to appoint an Executive Director, Corporate Services who will lead and integrate the organisation’s key corporate functions - Finance, Technology, Legal/Governance, and Strategy/Project Management. Reporting to the Chief Executive (CE) and as a key member of the executive team, this role is pivotal in enabling ST Vic to provide high-quality regulatory advice to the CE, Ministers and key stakeholders and deliver operational excellence across its safety remit. To be considered for this position, you will have exceptional strategic and operational leadership capability with an ability to influence business operations in a complex organisation. You will be proven in leading corporate services functions and develop positive relationships with stakeholders, drawing on teamwork, collaboration and delivering on best practice. Additionally, you are seasoned in building a high performing team and will contribute to the overall success of ST Vic. Your tertiary qualifications in business, finance, law, public administration or a related discipline will complement your experience.
