See yourself in our team The Compliance team consists of teams aligned to each business and support unit, as well as central teams, driving better compliance outcomes across the Group. The team has responsibilities for: Global Regulatory Affairs including Regulatory Change and Regulatory Relationships. Developing the Compliance Management Framework including Conduct and Privacy, plus associated policies, standards, procedures and training. Business requirements development for any tools or technology required to support the Compliance Management Framework. Supporting the implementation of the Compliance Management Framework by Line 1 teams across the CBA Group through compliance advice, approvals, training and tools. Independent monitoring and assurance, including reporting on compliance with obligations and adherence to the Compliance Management Framework. The role will be primarily responsible for providing efficient, professional delivery of business and administrative support to the Bank’s Chief Compliance Officer. Do work that matters As an Executive Assistant within the Compliance team, you will provide assistance to the team on a regular basis. You will be responsible for managing day to day activity, organise travel and HR support, coordinate events, provide assistance with planning, and manage actions and issues closure on behalf of the leadership team. You will coordinate with other EAs within the team on a regular basis. We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about creating an exceptional team culture, by fostering a positive and inclusive team environment and role modelling core values & behaviours. Some of the key areas you will add value include: Strategic Support to your Executive Operational Excellence and Team Enablement Relationship Management and Stakeholder Engagement across Risk Management and other business units We’re interested in hearing from people who will aspire to Act as a key liaison focused on building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, managing communications, and collaborating with the EA network to maintain alignment and trust. Streamline team operations and a collaborative culture in working to maintain budget management, travel coordination, and event planning, creating a professional, well-organised environment that fosters productivity. Enable the leader to operate effectively by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, coordinating the preparation of briefing materials and papers as well as driving follow-ups thereby ensuring priorities are clear and outcomes are delivered. Actively participate in Leadership Team meetings. Support the Chief Compliance Officer in driving team outcomes by following up on actions and ensuring timely completion. Other qualities you may possess include Previous experience as an Executive Assistant at a senior level. Strong stakeholder relationship skills. Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to change. High level of professionalism and discretion. A proactive mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
