About the role Xavier 7 South is a 30-bed mixed medical ward which has a diverse mix of specialities. Specialities include Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology. Xavier 7 South also currently encompasses inpatient medical oncology cancer services. You will practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and practice in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, local policy and protocol. Responsible in the provision of patient-centered nursing care including recognition of normal and abnormal assessments, interventions and evaluations of individual health and functional status. M ay administer prescribed medicines or maintain intravenous fluids, in accordance with their educational preparation. About you Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency. Minimum of 1 years post graduate experience working in an acute hospital setting. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team and has effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment. Demonstrated customer service and patient centered approach to care.
