This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work across a range of commercial and residential projects. Key Responsibilities : Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation Measure and lay out installation reference points Select, cut, and connect wire and cable to terminals and connectors Use electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective parts Position and install electrical switchboards Connect electrical systems to power supply and test continuity of circuits Install, test, and adjust electric and mechanical components of lifts Install, test, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems Requirements : Current Provisional Electrical Licence (minimum requirement) Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as skilled tradesperson. Please note that time spent in an apprenticeship or traineeship will not be counted toward the required experience.
