Are you an experienced Electrician Fire Technician with a strong background in dry fire system installation and fire panel programming? We're looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety-focused technician to join our Clients growing team! About the Role: As a Fire Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of dry fire systems including smoke detectors, alarm systems, and emergency lighting. A key part of this role involves programming and troubleshooting fire indicator panels across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission dry fire systems according to Australian standards. Program and configure fire alarm control panels from major brands (e.g., Notifier, Ampac, Tyco, etc.). Perform regular maintenance, fault finding, and repairs. Read and interpret electrical and system drawings. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Liaise with clients, builders, and site supervisors as required. Skills & Qualifications: Qualified/licensed electrician. Minimum 3 years' experience with fire detection systems. Proven experience programming fire panels (essential). Strong understanding of AS 1670 and AS 1851 (or local codes). White Card and relevant industry accreditations. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Driver's license and reliable transport. Bonus Points For: Experience working with BMS or integration systems. Fire Safety Certification or FPAS accreditation (or regional equivalent).
