Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning, Afternoon Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Thursday: Morning, Afternoon Friday: Morning, Afternoon 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year This is an immediate start position Skilled Technician – Workshop Facility We are a leading commercial airline repair station seeking one skilled technician to join our workshop team. Due to increased workload, we have an opening for a technician. The position will initially be offered on a casual basis, working day shifts up to 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with potential overtime, and may lead to a permanent full-time opportunity in the future. Key Duties: Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and assembly instructions, and carry out tasks accordingly. Remove and install components. Support senior workshop and service technicians to achieve required output. Required Skills and Experience: Mechanical disassembly and assembly. Electrical parts identification and safe working practices. Electrical/electronic disassembly and assembly. Wiring harness disassembly and assembly. Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and plans. Physically fit with strong attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Strong prioritisation and scheduling skills. Good communication skills (spoken, written, and reading in English). Recent experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Preferred but Not Mandatory: Prior experience in a similar role. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
