About the Role… Reporting to the Venue Manager, we are currently seeking a Duty Manager who is focused on ensuring the day-to-day operations of our venues are run efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring the best service for our members and guests. You will be a passionate people leader and develop our staff, whilst maintaining excellent communication with our people and leaders. The position allows the freedom for creative input whilst implementing systems and processes and empowering the team. The Duty Manager plays a vital role in ensuring our best service shines through for our members and guests. You must hold our passion for food, service and ambience. We are looking for an astute leader with high energy, a high level of expertise and vision. Joining The Greens North Sydney means you are part of Norths Collective which includes Norths Cammeray, The Alcott Lane Cove, The Verandah Beecroft, Seagulls Tweed Heads and The Bowlo Bangalow. Your Key Priorities will be: Daily operations of the club including presentation, security, monetary control, food and beverage and customer service Developing, maintaining and exceeding customer service standards Complying with all club legislation, policies and procedures, code of conduct and practice responsible service of alcohol and conduct of gaming. To lead an effective team in delivering outstanding service on a consistent basis in line with our values Maintaining effective communication with all key stakeholders including operations manager, floor staff, chefs and management team Actively driving and supporting a range of Work, Health and Safety Compliance activities Lead training and development between all staff The Candidate: Possess passion for delivering excellent customer experiences Previous experience in successfully managing a hospitality operation, desirably within boutique venues Outstanding behavioural and interpersonal skills Effectively delegate to all staff Highly organised with strong communication and personal skills Experience in working under pressure in a fast environment Current RSA, RCG and Advanced RCG certifications Current First Aid, CPR and Advanced Resuscitation certificates Flexibility and available to work a 7 day, rotating roster including weekends and public holidays Relevant Diploma / Degree qualification is desirable Our Benefits: Free gym membership at Norths Fitness 5 weeks annual leave Free duty meals Above Award rates Birthday leave Dynamic, energised, management team that is embracing change and focused on success Access to meaningful training and career development opportunities Work for a Club that continues to reinvent its relevancy to its local community Our mission is to connect our community and this starts with our people.
