About Allevia Limited: Allevia is a registered NDIS Provider, providing support to people who have an intellectual disability. Many of the people we support have a dual disability - along with their intellectual disability they also have a physical disability, and/or mental illness. About the Role(s): Allevia’s One Village and Elevate program provide center and community-based supports. We have opportunities available for people who fit our culture and want to join our dedicated support teams. Flexibility to work on a fortnightly roster which includes weekdays (usually 8:30am -3:30pm). Provide positive outreach support to NDIS Participants with a range of disabilities. This includes intensive, flexible, responsive, client focused support with the aim of assisting clients to successfully improve physical and mental health and develop connections with the community and achieve their goals. Assisting participants in their needs of daily living including personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport, etc. Use your administration skills to document client records daily. What we're looking for: Do you enjoy music, art, crafts, gardening, or cooking? Do you have passion for dancing, sports, or photography? Can you think outside the box or take initiative to create a fun, meaningful and creative experience? Do you have a passion for people and a genuine interest in responding to the needs of others? Are you a good communicator, (written and verbal) as you will be supporting people with varying communication support needs? You have the physical capability to carry out a range of manual handling tasks. A working knowledge of the NDIS. A qualification like a Certificate III or IV in Disability. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience providing personalised support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community engagement. Essential Criteria: NDIS Workers Screening Check A Driver's license (CP2 minimum) valid in Australia and access to own vehicle. First Aid Certificate and CPR Working with Children Check Right to Work in Australia such as passport, visa Ability to drive vehicles (MPV/Van) Salary: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award with salary sacrifice options available for part time and full-time employees.
