About the position We are seeking a passionate Cyber Security Architect to safeguard the IT and digital landscape within ESSSuper. This role is pivotal in orchestrating both solution delivery and leadership across technology adoption and implementation. The Cyber Security Architect will map out cloud security adoption strategies, shape decisions on application designs, and oversee cloud security management and monitoring from both a project delivery and security operations perspective. During this 12-month contract the focus will be; Review current security controls and identify areas of improvement and create a plan to support the uplift of controls Create a baseline framework of security controls for project managers for technology projects Implement an application wide listing product for the organisation This role is being offered on a 12-month fixed term basis. What we’re looking for Awareness of emerging security trends, including threats and countermeasures Extensive Cloud experience (preferably with Azure) Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, CASB, Email Security, XDR, DLP, Secure Email Gateways, CSPM, and Vulnerability Management Ability to analyse, isolate, and interpret business needs to develop appropriate technical solutions Effective communication and influence skills with internal and external stakeholders Strong customer focus and ability to network with non-technical staff High levels of tenacity, resilience, and initiative Passion for delivering secure and valuable results for the business Experience with CPS234, CPS230, VPDSF, and NIST-CSF frameworks Experience in designing and implementing security architectures using Zero Trust principles What we offer IMPACT - Our work has meaning, we serve the people who serve the community.
