About the team - The Technology branch shapes and drives the ASC's technology and digital strategy, to deliver capabilities and services for the ASC and the sector and ensure technology remains consistently integrated and leveraged across the business. The Transition Services Teams provide a central point of coordination, control and governance for all ICT transition activities across an ITSM model and framework that supports ASC End Users and Technology Group to collaborate closely across all Service Towers. They provide effective governance, control and management of change, release and deployment, knowledge and configurations that are essential for a well-functioning IT ecosystem that enables effective use, sustainability, and scalability across the organisation. About the role - The Content Writer is responsible for: Assisting in the implementation and then management of a centralised knowledge database or knowledge management system (KMS). Assisting with educating and communicating ITSM Knowledge Management best practices. Driving information sharing and knowledge flow. Identifying and initiating both Process and Service Improvement strategies and plans. You will be responsible for managing both project related and operational ICT knowledge articles and artefacts and overseeing process improvement initiatives that are related to designed, developed and operationally supported services or service offerings throughout the Technology Group's IT Service Management (ITSM) Service Lifecycles. You will have responsibility for ensuring effective governance controls and assessment of Knowledge Management and Service/Process Improvement practices that enhance knowledge and process maturity within Technology Group and across the broader ASC. You will also be responsible for adhering to ITSM policies, processes and procedures related to Change Management, Release and Deployment Management and Service Acceptance to ensure critical stage gate approvals and reviews are completed prior release into Production environments under a designed and documented ITSM Release & Deployment framework. About you - Our ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, communication skills and a passion in developing and implementing technology knowledge and process improvement processes within a government context. The skills and experiences of the successful candidate includes: Understanding of and/or demonstrated experience with coordination and facilitation of Knowledge and Process Improvement processes and procedures. Demonstrated research and analysis skills and an understanding of solution delivery lifecycles and their relationship to Change Management, Release & Deployment Management and Knowledge Management. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ITIL best practice frameworks, with ITIL Certification considered advantageous and/or experience in and ability to work with ICT and ITSM specific tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information to understanding of a layperson. Ability to work accurately under pressure. Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to influence and persuade others to work toward a common vision or goal. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a diverse environment managing good rapport with the teams and sections to foster a collaborative knowledge sharing environment.
