A Registered Nurse role at Silverchain can offer you the refreshing change you’ve been looking for. We can offer 2 days per week (ideally Mondays and Thursdays) on a regular basis with travel required between Taree, Forster and surrounding areas. What we’re looking for To be considered for this role, you will need the following: Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing. 2 years post-graduate, with broad experience in general nursing. Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations. Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage). Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach. Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians. Australian driver's licence. The role Provide wound, catheter, stoma and bowel care. Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management. Administer medications and injections. Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients. Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients.
