Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to step into a Co-Clinical Director role with the Tasmanian Health Service - North West . This is a 3-year fixed term , part-time leadership opportunity with additional clinical work available (up to 76 hours/fortnight total). The Role: Lead a team across 2 EDs (30K presentations/year each) Share strategic and clinical leadership responsibilities with an established Co-Director Influence service delivery, staff culture, and care standards in a regional setting Access to ACEM-accredited training and EMET outreach work (including King Island & Queenstown) Who We're After: FACEM (ideally 3 years post-Fellowship), or FACRRM/FRACGP with significant ED experience Prior leadership/management experience in ED settings Willing to work a mix of clinical and director hours (minimum 0.75 FTE) Rural/regional experience is highly valued What's on Offer: $216K-$310K p.a. super (pro rata) Management allowance (15%) for Director duties North West Retention bonus (20%) Up to $28K vehicle allowance or car provided Salary packaging, relocation support & 3 months funded accommodation Generous leave, PD support & access to 40 fitness centres across TAS for $13.95/wk ✅ Requirements: Specialist registration (or eligible) with AHPRA Current driver's licence (preferred) Interested?
