About Us We are an independent, highly rated Chinese language learning institute based in Sydney. We offer high-quality Chinese courses in small class settings for adults, as well as private tuition for young learners and adults alike. Our programs are designed to support learners in achieving academic, professional, and business objectives. MoTai Mandarin specialises in structured, results-driven learning, with a particular focus on learners without a Chinese background. We also provide language and cultural training to some of Australia’s leading companies and international businesses operating in Sydney, helping them successfully navigate the Chinese market. About the Role Hours: 38 hours a week during term periods; flexible arrangements may be considered based on class schedule Teaching Responsibilities: Facilitate small adult group classes (maximum 5 students) and provide one-on-one tutoring Administrative Duties: Complete administrative tasks as directed by management Location: Sydney CBD; includes a mix of online and in-person teaching Start Date: Term 3, 2025 (commencing 21 July) Selection Criteria Must currently reside in Australia with the legal right to work Native speaker with Chinese or Australian qualifications in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (对外汉语), Chinese Literature (汉语言文学), or a closely related discipline (Essential) Chinese National Mandarin Proficiency Certificate 2A or above（普通话水平证书二甲或以上）(Preferred) Strong passion for teaching and enthusiasm for working within a collaborative team Ability to deliver tuition in line with MoTai Mandarin’s course structure and curriculum Note: NESA accreditation is *not* required for this role.
