Our client is looking for qualified and experienced pastry chefs/cooks to work at their large estate. The company sets innovative menus bringing out the best of the local produce with their in house dining room. Required: AQF Diploma OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications for chef position. AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications. Preparation, creation, decoration and delivery of cakes, patisserie and pastry products Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies Monitor quality of dishes Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques Experience working with pastry's and other dessert cooking Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP Monitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisation You will be joining a high performing workplace that believes in developing new talent and empowering people to drive their own results.
