Centre Director – Busy Bees at Sandringham Location: Sandringham, VIC Licensed Capacity: 96 places Hourly Rate: $45.53 – $51.17 (WT 6A.1 to 6.9) Lead with Purpose – Inspire a Thriving Learning Community At Busy Bees at Sandringham , we’re looking for a values-driven Centre Director to lead our 96-place service with passion, integrity, and a strong focus on quality education and care. This is your opportunity to guide a talented team, support families, and shape the future of young learners in a vibrant bayside community. About the Role As Centre Director, you will: Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver exceptional learning outcomes Oversee daily operations including enrolments, staffing, compliance, and financial management Foster strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community Ensure the centre consistently meets NQS and regulatory standards Drive a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and professional growth Collaborate with your Area Director and national support network What You’ll Need A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within early childhood Proven understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory requirements Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (HLTAID012 or equivalent) Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training Strong communication, people management, and organisational skills Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa) Key Benefits Above-Award salary: $45.53 – $51.17 per hour (negotiable) Quarterly BEEs Bonus eligibility for Centre Directors Laundry allowance and annual uniform allocation Generous childcare discount (up to 50%) for permanent staff National and global leadership development programs Access to the Busy Bees Learning Platform Supportive Area Director and operational structure Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Opportunities to grow your career within a respected international network Busy Bees at Sandringham is located on George Street , just minutes from the beach and local parks, offering bright indoor learning spaces and an outdoor environment designed for discovery and play.
