Male Disability Support Worker – Frankston | Casual Role Are you a calm, patient, and tech-savvy male support worker who thrives in structured environments? We’re seeking a committed Disability Support Worker to support a 36-year-old male client living in Frankston. About the Role: Days: Monday & Wednesday Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Location: Frankston Client Overview: Our client is a vibrant and complex individual living with Autism (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), OCD, and Anxiety. He transitioned into Supported Independent Living in late 2024 after spending his entire life with his parents. His world is built on routine, stability, and meaningful engagement, and he requires a support worker who can honour and maintain this. Key Support Areas: Help with daily routines, including a morning writing activity Support during activities like yoga, Lego, aquarium visits, Thomas content, and nature walks Confidently support client in the pool during swimming Assist with OCD routines, sensory needs, and anxiety Calmly manage repetitive behaviours and tech-related fixations Maintain boundaries – no personal phone use during support You’ll Need: Experience with non-verbal clients and behaviours of concern Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient Comfortable using iPads, YouTube, and other tech Able to follow strict routines and handle sensory sensitivities Must be able to swim Experience with ASD, OCD, or complex behaviours is ideal Epilepsy training is a bonus (due to past absence seizures) Why This Role? Compliance Requirements NDIS Workers Screening Check Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR certificate Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent Australian driver's license and your own fully insured vehicle Pay Rates SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
