About PGCNV The Patricia Giles Centre for Non-Violence (PGCNV) is one of the leading providers of family and domestic violence services in the Perth metropolitan area. Supporting more than 5,000 Western Australian women and children last year, we provide crisis accommodation facilities and support, women’s and children’s counselling services and outreach programs. Our reputation is driven by our commitment to providing a high-quality, client-focused and sustainable service to clients accessing our programs and services. In addition to the provision of direct response and recovery services, we also provide advocacy, referral information and support to women and their children seeking relief from the impact of domestic violence. About the roles We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Case Workers to join our team and provide case management and advocacy support to women experiencing family and domestic violence and/or homelessness. We are currently looking for Case Workers to work in the following areas: Safe at Home – 1x Full-time (Monday to Friday) You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team with Support Workers, Child Advocates and Counsellors. About you Diploma in Community Services (or similar), or working towards a relevant degree Extensive knowledge of family violence risk assessment and management frameworks Ability to work autonomously within a trauma informed case management model and adapt to evolving practice methods Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals and stakeholders Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional level of reporting including case notes, assessments, and support plans Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families. Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care and a commitment to cultural safety and diversity. Excellent problem-solving skills and sound decision-making ability Proficiency in IT, with the ability to adapt to new software and platforms.
