We have fast become a community hub and can unashamedly say that we serve some of the best coffee in the region, showcasing Symmetry coffee beans and a patisserie chef who offers an exciting menu of handmade pastries and treats. We are looking for an experienced barista to work on both full time or casual contracts. Minimum 3 days a week, up to 5 days a week, depending on your availability. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to work in and gain more experience and learn from our passionate team in a specialty coffee establishment. Responsibilities: Primarily a barista, taking orders & floor service (all-rounder) Help create a friendly environment for our customers Maintain cleanliness of the café and observe prescribed health and sanitation guidelines Requirements: Barista experience - minimum 4 years (essential) Willingness to learn our processes Availability for a minimum of 3 days a week from 0700 to 1530 A friendly and hospitable personality An eagerness to learn about hospitality Immediate start date, but can be negotiated depending on your availability Salary: Level 2 food and beverage attendant grade 2 as per the Pay Guide - Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119] Perks: Competitive salary Meals and coffee/tea provided A dynamic, friendly and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development
