Skills And Experiences What your new job looks like As a member of the CHU Assess Team, you will be responsible for driving an outstanding customer experience and delivering market leading strata building consultancy through quality technical response. Day to day you will be involved in Building Consultancy comprising residential & commercial strata Causation investigation and analysis Remediation advice and guidance Insurance Underwriting surveys Identifying building defects and damage Preparing and issuance of reports to articulate causation, extent of loss, and recommended remediation Scope preparation and validation Technical face to face presentations to Brokers, Strata Managers and Owners Supporting CHU on the delivery of key strategic initiatives and projects Working cohesively with all other claims teams within CHU Providing technical claims advice for colleagues within your team Providing risk insights and guidance to the Underwriting team We'd love to meet you Especially if you can talk to us about your: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Current trade contracting licence or industry accreditation Thorough knowledge of the building industry Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards Ability to communicate with all customers both verbally and in written form Ability to identify building defects and damage Ability to produce reports Current residency in NSW Education/Qualifications Diploma/Degree / Tertiary Qualification in Building Trade qualification Minimum 5 years related work experience Our commitment to you At the heart of CHU’s company culture is recognition of the value our team members bring to the workplace through their individual backgrounds, culture, strengths, creativity, ideas, shared experiences and access to a flexible work environment.
