Description About the Role As our Bell Bay Site Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operations and administrative support required for one of our key customers, a major player in Tasmania’s mining sector. Strait Link is a customer first company, and this role plays a crucial part in coordinating both our company and customer requirements from our Bell Bay site. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Providing support to Company drivers/operators including timesheets, inductions, load creation and fleet utilisation. Ensure all supplier documents are processed in a timely manner including the recording of all outbound loads, maintaining documents for freight movement, and notification of any discrepancies. Manage outbound movements through manifests for rail and shipping movements to meet scheduled cut offs for international and local vessel movements. Support and manage customer queries such as freight status and POD queries. Diligently manage all necessary records from freight movement to sub-contractor compliance. Follow and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, customer and company HSE requirements. Skills And Experiences About You Excellent communication and customer service skills. Organised & methodical approach to tasks. Ability to coordinate across stakeholders to meet deadlines. Strong reporting skills for freight movements, e.g. DIFOT reports. Strong systems & software skills, e.g. Excel, Word Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations preferable. An inclusive workplace, works for everyone We celebrate difference.
