Active Life OT is a community occupational therapy service, working with clients in their homes across the Central Coast. We pride ourselves in offering an extremely high quality and tailored OT service with local knowledge and established relationships with other local providers to ensure we get the best outcome for all our clients. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative Occupational Therapist to join our team of three full time OT's based in Erina. The role is offered on a full or part-time basis and there is opportunity for flexible working. We are keen to hear from you whether you are a new graduate/ early career OT or already work in the field and have experience. The role will be adjusted to suit your own personal experience, skill set and CPD goals. The majority of our clients are adult NDIS participants who live with a physical and/ or intellectual disability. There will be opportunity to carry out functional capacity assessments, assistive technology (AT) assessments including wheelchairs and seating, manual handling assessments, home modifications (minor and complex) as well as SIL/ ILO and SDA assessments and report writing. We also have clients funded within the aged care sector. Referrals are allocated to fit in with each of our OT's particular strengths and skillsets. We do not accept referrals if we do not have the relevant OT skills to provide a high-quality service. Active Life OT would also welcome applications from OT's who are passionate about providing in home therapy sessions for our clients for independent skill development in ADL's. Training and supervision will be provided but good working knowledge of the NDIS is advantageous and special interests are welcomed and supported. Active Life OT sees clients throughout the Central Coast, so you must be mobile, and be happy to travel to North and South ends of the Central Coast, although visits are grouped where possible. To be Considered you will be expected to have: Occupational Therapy Degree and Full AHPRA Registration Experience in a clinical role with excellent report writing skills Certificate of currency for Professional Indemnity Insurance A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle Current Police Check and WWCC (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting) NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Completion Certificates (or willingness to obtain) We offer: Excellent pay rate - commensurate with skills and experience Part time flexible hours if required Interesting and varied workload with a range of clients A shared office space in Erina with 3 friendly, full time OT's and a part time practice manager Flexibility to do some work from home Regular supervision and CPD opportunities Please contact Becky on 0413 252 to discuss the role, or email a covering letter, your resume and salary expectation to activelifeot.com.au
