RØDE is seeking a Usability Testing Audio Engineer to support our expanding team in Sydney. Your Role: As a Usability Testing Audio Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards in both functionality and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Audio Functional Testing · Interpret product specifications and requirements to create structured, detailed test cases. · Conduct manual and functional testing to ensure systems meet defined acceptance criteria. · Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira. · Collaborate with development, design, and product teams to resolve issues efficiently. · Support regression testing for product updates and releases. Audio Usability Testing · Design and execute usability tests with end users or representative personas. · Assess product interfaces for clarity, consistency, and ease of use. · Provide actionable feedback to enhance the user experience. · Work with UX designers to refine features based on real-world user behaviour and insights. · Analyse qualitative and quantitative usability data to support product development. What You’ll Bring: · A degree in Audio Engineering OR 2 years of professional experience in the audio industry. · Strong interest in audio hardware or electronics. · Solid understanding of basic audio signal flow. · Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail. · A valid driver’s license and reliable transport (preferred).
