The key duties of the position include About the Opportunity We are seeking an Assistant Director, Digital Publishing who will lead the development and implementation of ASQA's website and intranet content management framework of governance, policies and procedures, and supports content authors to communicate in the voice of the regulator. Optimising and adding value to how ASQA's information and communications are written, visually presented and made available to both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the delivery of high-quality, user-centred digital content across the agency's online platforms (website, intranet, eDM's and reporting platforms) strategically leading and managing a team responsible for digital content management, including establishing expectations, and scheduling and reviewing work supporting, mentoring and coaching members of the team to develop their capability working with internal stakeholders to guide content owners and make clear their responsibilities and the business rules for managing content collecting and analysing information and data to assess risks and opportunities in content management assisting in the preparation of reports for senior management that effectively communicate updates and provide evidence-based recommendations for the managing content collaborating across teams within ASQA to understand content challenges and priorities for staff and to influence content management practices aligned with the policy and procedures continuously improving the way content is managed, including through procedures, technology solutions for improved staff access to controlled content and to support better management of content. Skills and experience To succeed in this role, you will have: a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team a demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in content management and strategic content creation, including the ability to provide guidance to others the ability to identify and propose improvements to systems, processes, communications and/or timeliness the ability to develop and implement work plans, set work area priorities, and evaluate outputs the ability to develop and manage relationships with staff and stakeholders, engaging and collaborating to achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation demonstrated experience in providing high-quality written and oral advice to senior management and other stakeholders demonstrated experience engaging with risk-based decisions. Desirable: Qualifications in Information Management or other relevant disciplines highly desirable. Understanding of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia, including the regulatory framework (or ability to quickly develop such an understanding).
