Our Opportunity NEPEAN Power is currently seeking an apprentice electrician to join the team. This opportunity is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Thornton, NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to; Interpret Electrical Schematics and scopes of work Control and power wiring of electrical equipment Fault finding and function testing of electrical equipment AS3800 level overhaul of intrinsically safe control equipment Providing high quality workmanship on time and on budget Maintain calibration of test equipment Ensure all equipment, machinery and tooling is kept in good working order Document control and progress reporting Liaise with supervisor to set priorities and meet deadlines We’d love to hear from you if you have: The right to work in Australia A driver’s licence Completed or are completing your HSC or a Pre-Apprenticeship course A genuine interest in the electrical trade Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Why Join Us: Competitive hourly rate Family orientated business Guaranteed Christmas break Monthly employee BBQ’S Family Christmas parties Reimbursement for prescription safety glasses Employee Assistance Program (EAP), well-being assistance that’s free for all the family What to include in your application: Cover letter – introducing yourself and your reasons for applying.
