About our roleAs Applications Development Manager, you will lead the development of scalable, secure, and reliable applications aligned with business goals. Working with stakeholders and vendors, you’ll set standards, drive innovation, and apply best practices to optimise integration and delivery.Leveraging your expertise in software development and emerging technologies, you’ll guide the outsourced team to deliver solutions that enable digital transformation, enhance user experience, and improve operational efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Provide hands on technical expertise and deliver the strategic direction for the organisation’s application stack, ensuring alignment with business goals.Design, develop, and integrate scalable, secure, and reliable applications, following SDLC and DevOps best practices.Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to define requirements, establish standards, and drive innovation through emerging technologies.Ensure application security, compliance, and comprehensive documentation.Provide mentoring and coaching to promote best practices, continuous learning, and improvement.
