About the role As an Analytics Specialist at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with both business and IT stakeholders to develop innovative reporting solutions, visualisations, and predictive models that support operational efficiency and customer-focused outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values teamwork, and enjoys solving complex problems through data analysis, storytelling and visual representation. About You You’re a natural collaborator and communicator who understands the power of working across teams to achieve shared goals. You bring strong analytical skills and a creative approach to visualising data—translating complex information into clear, compelling insights. You’re comfortable navigating both business and technical conversations, and you’re passionate about using data to improve processes and outcomes. Most importantly, you’re a team player who values inclusion, integrity, and excellence, and you’re ready to contribute to a culture that puts the customer first. To be successful in this role you will have: Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. Demonstrated experience applying data analysis technologies and tools including Power Pivot, Power View and Power BI to predictive analysis and data modelling. Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders in the delivery of business intelligence solutions that add value to business decision making. Highly Regarded: Microsoft PL-300 accreditation.
