The key duties of the position include The Role Security and Estate Group is looking to fill a range of positions in the following areas: Business Management Officer (Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch, Infrastructure Division) Brindabella Park - ACT : As a Business Manager Officer you are part of a small team responsible for providing business management services for the Branch. You will have excellent attention to detail, high-level representational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders in a dynamic fast paced environment. Duties include proactively managing tasks and activities to deliver administrative and business support activities for the Branch, including human resources, personnel administration workforce reporting, organisational structure, office management, financial and budget support, asset management, staff training and event planning. This position requires a Baseline Security Clearance. Base Support Officer (Estate Service Delivery, Service Delivery Division) Victoria Barracks/Defence Plaza - VIC : These roles in Base Support Network Services (Metropolitan Melbourne) are accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex planning, coordination and service delivery activities and tasks for effective base operations, spatial management, and estate support activities. The role is also responsible for ensuring that safety, security and emergency management activities in line with the Joint Frame Base Accountabilities are successfully delivered within the required quality, schedule and compliance. This position requires an NV1 Security Clearance. Psychological Assessment Processing (Psychological Services, Security Division) Campbell Park - ACT : As a Team Leader within the Psychology Data Management Team, you will be a Canberra-based motivated administrator, with experience in managing and leading a team. You will have oversight and management responsibilities for staff conducting psychological testing, processing psychological files, and transferring Personnel Security File (PSF) data. You will meet, communicate, respond, and provide advice to a range of stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative issues to achieve psychological and data transfer outcomes for the Directorate. This position requires an NV1 Security Clearance. Customer Service Team Supervisor (Communication and VIP) (AGSVA Customer Service, Security Division) Campbell Park - ACT, Edinburgh Parks - SA : AGSVA Customer Service is seeking highly motivated individuals to support a broad range of customers and sponsors throughout the security clearance process. In this position you will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team of customer service experts to effectively deliver a range of AGVSA services to ensure AGSVA meets its Service Level guidelines, whilst fostering a culture of customer service excellence, striving to exceed customer expectations, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and open communication. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, including delegating tasks, communicating clear team deliverables and monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance metrics with a mindset to identify areas for improvement. Your advanced negotiation skills will allow you to manage complex enquiries and customer service issues for VIPs and other identified cohorts, ensuring customer concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately, by providing effective solutions. An important component of the role is using your exceptional communication skills to plan and contribute to the effective delivery of AGSVA Roadshows and contribute to the drafting and distribution of AGSVA internal and external communication and artefacts. This role will also provide oversight to AGSVA's customer satisfaction program and feedback processes. This position requires an NV1 Security Clearance. Governance Officer (Security Division) Campbell Park - ACT : As an APS5 Governance Officer within a divisional support team, you will play a key role in coordinating taskings, managing shared mailboxes, and overseeing information flows to ensure effective communication and workflow management across the division. You will triage and allocate incoming requests, track responses, and ensure timely and accurate distribution of information to relevant stakeholders, supporting both strategic and operational outcomes. A core component of the role involves maintaining governance frameworks and systems. You will contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures, ensure compliance with records management policies (including Objective), and work closely with branches to promote good governance practices. The APS 5 Governance Officer is expected to work collaboratively within a high performing team environment, supporting corporate coordination activities and contributing to division wide governance initiatives. The officer may also support broader executive functions, such as backfilling the Executive Assistant during peak periods or staff absences. This position requires an NV1 Security Clearance. A merit pool will be created and may be used to fill future vacancies for similar roles anywhere in Australia. About our Team SEG is responsible for providing infrastructure and associated support services to in excess of 90,000 ADF and civilian staff. SEG sustains the Defence Estate and is the consolidated security and service delivery organisation for Defence. We design and deliver Defence infrastructure and manage the complex Defence Estate - maintaining environmental stewardship of over 3.8 million hectares, the largest landholding in the Commonwealth with 70 major bases, 100 plus training ranges, more than 1000 leased or owned properties, and 30,000 built assets.
