Role Overview: We are seeking a friendly, approachable Management Accountant with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will possess excellent accounting skills and thrive in a team environment. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, budget formulation, financial analysis, accounts payable and receivable and payroll management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports and present them to management Analyze and interpret financial data, providing advice to the management Formulate monthly and annual budget policies and provide guidance to management Assist in budget preparation and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs Develop financial plans, cash flow forecasts, and profit projections while assessing associated risks Handle monthly payroll tax and quarterly/annual BAS Analyze operating costs and propose expenditure budgets to ensure profitability Prepare year-end payment summaries, profit and loss reports, and detailed financial statements Summarize current financial statements by collecting information and preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements Liaise with financial institutions to secure favourable financial deals Ensure proper management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Maintain proper accounting practices regarding filing, document maintenance, and customer records Liaise with external Chartered Accountants, Auditors, and Tax Accountants to provide support, assistance, and information related to regulatory compliance accounting Collaborate with external professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements Provide necessary documentation and support during audits and compliance reviews Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Strong accounting skills and proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Punctual, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Application Process: To apply online, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining how your skills and experience align with the role requirements, along with contact information for two recent professional referees.
