Through our recruitment arm, we place permanent and contract IT professionals and support our consulting practice with high-calibre talent. We operate across multiple engagement models – from outsourced delivery to co-sourced teams and standalone contractor placements – with clients spanning enterprise, utilities, and public sector organisations in Victoria and Queensland. We’re at an exciting growth point, and this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of recruitment at Bexton. The Opportunity We are looking for someone with strong recruitment agency or consulting experience ideally with some exposure to account management and new business development. This is the perfect next step for a recruiter ready to level up – with guidance and input from the founders – into a more strategic role across recruitment, client engagement, and business development. The role will begin by owning the recruitment function and contributing to ongoing client delivery. You'll have the opportunity to build deeper relationships, lead client accounts, and contribute to new business growth. You'll be empowered to shape your path with the full support and mentorship of the founders. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Relationship & Account Management Act as the primary contact for allocated clients Attend client meetings and provide updates on delivery progress and candidate status. Work with internal consultants to ensure delivery is aligned to expectations. Build lasting client partnerships by delivering value and being a trusted advisor. 2. Growth & Business Development Bring in new clients and earn commissions on sales Shape business development strategy in collaboration with the founders Help build and scale Bexton’s brand and value proposition in the market Build and maintain a dynamic database of IT consultants across key verticals (Cloud, Data/AI, Cyber, DevOps, etc.) Actively source and pre-qualify candidates for current and future client needs Track consultant availability, market trends, and project readiness Stay connected with your network to ensure Bexton remains top of mind Respond to panel requests and ad hoc recruitment needs across public and private sector clients. Shortlist and present candidates who are technically aligned, available, and culturally suited Communicate effectively between consultants and clients to ensure a smooth process. Maintain a high standard of candidate representation and delivery performance. About You 3-5 years’ experience in an IT recruitment agency or Consulting environment Exposure to client-side or account management responsibilities under a lead is beneficial. Experience working across infrastructure, cloud, data, or cyber verticals Confident communicator and strong relationship builder – with both clients and consultants Comfortable working from home, self-driven, and great at managing your own pipeline Passionate about delivering value to clients and building long-term relationships Open to mentorship and leadership from a highly experienced founding team Excited about shaping something from the ground up, not just filling jobs What We Offer Pathway to Employee Shareholder Scheme (ESOP) after demonstrating success and value.
