Due to company growth an exciting opportunity has become available for a committed, proactive and qualified Wood Machinist to join their team. About You: Trade Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience in Wood Machining Previous experience working with CNC Routers Previous experience working with 4 or 5 Sided Moulders Experience with Band saws and edge-matching machines Ability to Tool change and Machine set-up Be Physically fit Motivated, reliable and hard working Duties and Responsibilities will include: Sets up woodworking machines and wood stock for correct cutting, planning, turning, shaping and sanding Operates machines to cut, plane, turn, shape and sand work pieces Removes old finishes by stripping with steel wool and glasspaper, and by applying solvents and paint strippers, and removing softened finishes by scraping Applying varnish, shellac, lacquer, stains and paint to surfaces and polishing and waxing finished surfaces Fitting and fastening frame pieces Mounting backing materials and subjects for framing Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:20pm - Overtime available Relocation Packages: This position is on a full-time basis, and we encourage international applicants to apply as full work sponsorship is on offer.
