The Law Society of NSW is Australia's largest and most influential membership association for solicitors. We offer a range of services and initiatives designed to proactively enhance positive mental health and wellbeing of over 33,000 members and practitioners from across NSW. We are currently looking for a full time permanent Wellbeing Coordinator to join our Membership & Engagement team, starting January 2026. About the role The Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Wellbeing Manager in the day-to-day coordination and administration of resources and initiatives which support individual legal practitioners while also seeking to provide law practices with the appropriate resources and frameworks to improve wellbeing within their respective workplaces. You will be responsible for providing organisational and administrative coordination for the Wellbeing Team, including providing hands-on support for event and program preparation and execution. What you'll be doing Planning and coordinating event details and training deliveries Coordinating event and stakeholder communications, invitations, and bookings Assisting with the execution of events and program delivery both in person and via online event platforms Supporting the coordination and day-to-day maintenance of the Law Society’s Wellbeing resources Maintaining and organising the Wellbeing Team’s event and training commitments and calendars Assisting with the management of the Law Society’s Wellbeing and Mentoring inboxes and responding to relevant queries Maintaining and updating contact information and databases for the Wellbeing Team’s external stakeholders Supporting the broader Member Insights and Engagement Team when needed during high-demand periods or large-scale events Assisting with document drafting and copy editing for program outlines. About you 1-2 years administration or event coordination experience Professional or lived experience in research and development, marketing and design, organisational health and safety, customer service, event coordination, crisis management, childcare, or aged care is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Exceptional organisational skills, planning, and time management skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines Good understanding and awareness of the areas of law and issues impacting the profession desirable Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook) Tech savvy with a willingness to embrace new systems and tools Ability to work autonomously and in a team, as an active and contributing member Excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proof reading Ability to write clearly and succinctly and to communicate actively, clearly, and patiently; Strong administrative skills, especially with respect to abilities in scheduling, writing and grammar, and organisation of written materials and visual resources Passionate, determined, and highly tolerant of complex and changing demands Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships Highly flexible, optimistic, proactive and solution-orientated Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and accepting of new ideas with a willingness to approach new challenges Ability to occasionally work outside of normal working hours for evening or weekend events High degree of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct Reliable, punctual, and committed to high quality execution of duties. About the team The Membership and Engagement Department is responsible for delivering meaningful value and connection to members of the Law Society of New South Wales across all segments of the profession. The department brings together six specialist teams: Content and Communications, Marketing, Venue & Events, Member Insights and Engagement, Professional Development and Commercial Partnerships, to deliver an integrated member experience that promotes engagement, wellbeing, and professional growth.
