YOUR NEW ROLE This position is responsible for motivating, inspiring and overseeing the Sydney Opera House Welcome Team at the Sydney Opera House and any new initiatives introduced in conjunction with the Welcome Team Operations and training Manager. As the Team Leader, you will act as a dynamic brand ambassador dedicated to supporting, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service by being proactive and hands on with the day to day operation. You will empower your team to deliver positive, memorable interactions with guests and employ upselling techniques to promote Sydney Opera House and tourism attractions and events in Sydney. The Team leader will assist in running day to day operations and events building positive collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders of the business. This role will assist in the performance management and development of the Welcome Team to ensure operational effectiveness and the highest standard of service delivery. Experience in the leading, coordination and performance management of teams. Ability to build positive collaborative working relationships in a team environment, with multiple key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in motivating operation teams to deliver exceptional service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dedicated to driving and achieving results collaboratively within your team. Demonstrated experience leading day to day operations in a visitor service environment. Highly energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a high customer service ethic is required. Ability to work over a seven-day rotating roster, including working weekends, public holidays and New Years Eve.
