We are seeking experienced Systems Administrators, Systems Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers with deep expertise in Microsoft/Windows platforms and VMware virtualisation . You will design, support, and optimise secure enterprise infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance within highly classified environments. Why Join Us? Access to structured training, labs, and certification support Opportunity to build advanced VMware and Microsoft capability Work on high-impact, mission-critical Defence and Federal Government programs Salary packaging options novated leasing Industry-leading contract rates Long-term career growth in secure environments Key Responsibilities Administer and support Windows Server , Active Directory , Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and enterprise Microsoft services Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure , including vSphere, ESXi hosts, clusters, and virtual environments Perform patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management of Windows and VMware platforms Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation layers Ensure adherence to ASD ISM , Defence security requirements, and ICT compliance standards Produce clear technical documentation, system designs, and operational procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable systems Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers when required Skills & Experience Required Strong hands-on experience administering Windows Server and core Microsoft infrastructure Solid VMware experience - vSphere, ESXi, vCenter (NSX-T or vSAN beneficial but not mandatory) Knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualisation architecture Experience supporting secure environments, ideally Defence or Federal Government Familiarity with automation or scripting tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform - advantageous) Strong communication and documentation skills Education & Certifications (Highly Regarded) Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104, etc.) VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP preferred) Diversity & Inclusion We value diverse backgrounds and are committed to building inclusive teams.
